# Icons (/docs/reference/icons)

> Every Lucide glyph and brand mark a record may name, drawn by the renderer itself.

A record names a glyph and never carries one. The renderer draws it in the ink of the text beside it, inline or as an image, as the Theme's `icons` policy says. Each glyph below is that drawing, from `context(THEMES.certificate.theme).icon()` at build. Any other name is refused at its path, as [Closed sets](https://next.mdxui.dev/docs/reference/closed-sets#icons) lists.
