## How it was built

**The brief.** A directory and marketplace of shared workshop benches, booked by the hour. The listings are things, never people. The hero says it plainly: "A workbench near you, by the hour."

**The records.** One JSON record per page under `pages/benchlist/`: the home and `city/duluth` name `directory-list`, `bench/kiln-room-4` names `directory-product`, and listing a bench names `contact`.

**The Theme.** Every record names `"theme": "directory"`. Changing that line in each file rebrands the Site, which is what Flip Site shows under all five Themes.

**The 404 and the listing flow.** `404.json` leads back home. The list-a-bench form posts to its action, and `list-a-bench/sent.json` is the page an owner lands on. A static host answers no post, so on this host the form does not send.
