# Templates (/docs/showcase/templates)

In mdxui, a Page record names its Template in `template`, one of seven values `PageSchema` accepts. Each Tile shows every worked page that names it, live, in its own Business's Theme.

**Variables and slot rules.**

The seven names are in 7.0.0-alpha.0; the rest of startupbuilder.dev's Template is not. `PageSchema` checks that `template` is one of the seven and checks no slot, so the Section types a kind of page carries are read from the records, as each Template page shows.
