One binary for macOS and Linux. It reads config and writes nothing outside its own cache.
$curl -fsSL get.diffkeel.example | sh
Puts one binary on your PATH
Set up
Four steps to a gated deploy.
About ten minutes in a repository you already deploy from.
Your first diff walks each step with real output.
- 01Install the binary
- 02Run diffkeel init
- 03Name each environment
- 04Add the check to CI
$ diffkeel version
diffkeel 0.9.0 (linux/arm64)
$ diffkeel init
found base.yaml, staging.yaml, prod.yaml, prod.env
wrote diffkeel.toml with 2 environments: staging, prod
$ diffkeel diff staging
staging matches its live config: 0 changes
Requirements
What it needs.
macOS or Linux
Apple silicon, x86-64 and arm64 Linux. Windows runs it under a Linux shell.
Read access
Read access to the repository and to the live config of each environment.
Any CI
Any CI that runs a container runs the check. It needs no plugin.
No account
The CLI needs no sign-up. Stored diffs and approvals need a Team key.
