Why directory
A directory is many listings competing for one glance. Directory's monochrome Inter and no dividers let the benches carry the page, and it reads in light or dark.

How it was built
The brief. A directory and marketplace of shared workshop benches, booked by the hour. The listings are things, never people. The hero says it plainly: "A workbench near you, by the hour."
The records. One JSON record per page under pages/benchlist/: the home and city/duluth name directory-list, bench/kiln-room-4 names directory-product, and listing a bench names contact.
The Theme. Every record names "theme": "directory". Changing that line in each file rebrands the Site, which is what Flip Site shows under all five Themes.
The 404 and the listing flow. 404.json leads back home. The list-a-bench form posts to its action, and list-a-bench/sent.json is the page an owner lands on. A static host answers no post, so on this host the form does not send.
